I wonder if he regrets not staying and maybe helping build
something special…..?
Can’t begrudge him, but very few people go through life regret-free and I wonder if this will be one of those moments for him…
I don't think he regrets leaving UCLA
However, the way he has handled himself after his leaving his pretty remarkable considering what we have seen from Jrue Holiday.
Setting the bar kind of low comparing him to Jrue....
but that doesn’t negate your point at all…class act, but I’m just bummed that he rolled precisely because of that reason….hell, I wasn’t even close to being the big man on campus and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed every minute on that beautiful campus with those beautiful women! I can only imagine what 4 years would’ve been like in his shoes!!
2008-2009 team with KL
Collison
Holiday

………………………..yeah, we’d definitely be coming off four straight Final Fours this year. (Not that I have anything against KL, of course; we knew he was 99.9% likely to leave after one year, he probably couldn’t have drastically improved his draft position with another year in college, he got us to the Final Four and anchored the best UCLA team since ’95, etc. He was what every one-and-done player should be. Still, that hypothetical 2008-2009 team would have kicked ASS.)
Well then we would have been undefeated
That hypothetical scenario was based around just KL returning.
But I'll tell you this, for only being here a year, I can see how people are Bruins for life.
Preach it brother.
Oh UCLA you sweet bitch, you've BRUINed me for anything else.
Great quotes
Think that interview will help a bit with recruiting?
This is why the right kind of guy for a one and done makes sense.
greg in denver - UCLA guy for life
KL is True Blue and Gold
I think he spoke up now to put DG in perspective and give a subtle endorsement to CBH.
He’s a really classy kid.
sjh
You're A Wise Young Man, KL
Thanks for showing the class and character we expect from a Bruin One year or five, the time is irrelevant. It’s what you do with it, and who you become.
Love My Bruins
