Reeves has a corneal abrasion and some swelling in his right eye. He will miss three to four days and will be revaluated after the swelling goes down. UCLA's medical staff is optimistic he will be available to play when the Bruins face Mississippi State in the John R. Wooden Classic on Dec. 12 at Honda Center.

He'll play
I love this kid already. Tough and has plenty of heart. Will fit right in with Howland’s system. GO BRUINS!!!

Ouch
I’ve had corneal abrasions twice before (something got under my contact lens and I rubbed my eye). Unless you eye is closed it literally feels like someone is jamming a pencil into your eyeball everytime you look in a different direction. Definitely a tough kid to go back on the court with that feeling
I think it fitting he wear PAA's goggles
He has the toughness we’ve loved in PAA and LMR — two of my all time favorite Bruins.
And, dare I say his skill set is a little more developed than that which they had as freshmen?
sjh
Need more Reeves on the team
What made those Final Four teams so great were so many Ben Ball tough minded players on that team at the same time — Afflalo, Luc-Richard, Aboya, Mata-Real, etc…
Outside of Nelson, I haven’t seen the same tenacity from the other players yet. I hope Nelson’s play will start to rub off on the other players. It’d also be nice to see the players be able to hit shots as well.
