Lamey's relentless disregard of the rules

Karl II pointed out that Lamey has some 'splaining to do.  Well, another week, another violation.  There was a blurb in the St. Pete Times (sort of a JV version of the fishwrap - Mrs. Fox 71 insists on it to get certain coupons) about the latest from Rockytop.  The article pointed out that the school reported its third recruiting violation.  It seems that in a radio interview, Lamey called Bryce Brown, a hot running back, who had orally committed to Miami, a "great player."  Now quoting from the article, "Coaches cannot comment on recruits until they sign" a letter of intent, which Brown had not done.

Although one would expect a new head coach to learn the rules under which he must operate, it is understandable why Lamey did not bother after having studied at the feet of the master at justsc, and then going to a team with a lower salary cap for a while.  What really must gall him is that Tennessee's administration plays by the rules and self-reports.  That is probably a strategic move coming up by justsc.  They will self-report gum chewing on the fencing team bus or something like that, and demand total and eternal expiation of all sins.

We ought to start a pool - when will Lamey or Sark the Shark commit the next one?
