LA Times Folds It's "What's Bruin" Blog
Yeah, I know shocking. Who knew a blog titled "What's Bruin" run by a Trojan alum wouldn't work out so well. GO BRUINS.

A USC blogger shouldn't have been writing What's Bruin
But how does the LA Times not have a blog dedicated to a local major sports team?
That’s even worse.
To be fair, there’s no more All Things Trojan either. Just bizarre. This is 2009, blogs are becoming a part of life.
The sports blogs have been relocated
The blog is called The Fabulous Forum and there is a UCLA section and, presumably, an ’SC section. Also, instead of one blogger, there will be several and it looks like Adam Rose will still be one of them.
The links to UCLA-related content are provided at the bottom of the article Nestor referenced.
I know that
It seems to me though that it would be harder to blog about UCLA well at a blog that covers everything than one that’s UCLA focused. The same goes for every other team.
Yeah, I guess it depends ...
on how many blogs each blogger is now responsible for. My guess is that with the Times in dire financial straits, each blogger will have more responsibilities than before. At least all the UCLA content, such as it is, will be grouped together.
What a terrible name for a blog
I truly thought is was a blog about Lakers history during the days they played in Inglewood. Somebody needs to hire a better pun writer.
but what will i do
without my bruin news updated every 3 days?!? The only thing worth reading was the stats of former bruins in the nfl.
LOL
I corrected him a few times in his comments (like when he thought JRW started coaching at UCLA in 1962) or when he stated he a bball recruit was arrested when he wasn’t. He would always correct his entry, but never publish my comment telling him to correct it.
Adam Rose was a total hack.

Adam Rose writing that former UCLA blog
shows the bigger problem at that paper – the overall terrible coverage of the Bruins. Didn’t the editors understand that a blog without readers doesn’t work, and that no self-respecting Bruins’ fan would read a blog written by a Trojan. I would feel the same way if the Times did it in reverse and had a Bruin writing about the Bruins and SUC. It’s really sad to see what has happened to the paper of Jim Murray. Newspapers are going the way of the Edsel and the DoDo bird, and while there is a bad economy, they have nobody to blame but themselves. And thank goodness this blog is here for Bruins fans to get some useful information about our teams.
