An incredible story on UCLA recruting day
on the WWL. I came across this article
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?columnist=feldman_bruce&id=3886271
in which it chronicles the entire day, minute to minute, recruit to recruit, commitment to commitment in the UCLA offices yesterday. This was such an intersting read, and you truly get the passion, pride, and determination that CRN, CNC, and the rest of the staff have to make our Bruins footballers great again. I swear, if Rick called me right now to serve water to the players during practice, I might quit my job and do it right now............for FREE! That is how much confidence and inspiration I have for CRN and staff right now. These guys are great, and I am so appreciative to have CRN back at UCLA, and to have such great coaches such as CNC and CBP in our program. They all overachieved yesterday, but they didn't luck into it, they worked hard to do it......which is a great message to our players.
Lastly, I heard CRN on the radio today, and he is not running from that University in South Central. When he was asked "If you and USC were competing for one elite player, and he was down to you and USC and he gave you the choice to have the first or last visit with him, which would you choose". CRN said "I don't care, it wouldn't matter. I just want to have a visit". What an answer, and what a guy. Keep up the great work to all of our coaches.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Nice Go'in
Our coaches did a great job. They got nice players. They got nice people.
I heard that too
and couldn’t of been happier with his response. He just said flat out, all I want is a chance to tell the UCLA story, and I don’t care where I’m in line (meaning first second or third), or with whom I’m in line with. I just want my chance to tell the UCLA story.
But I loved it more because it was SO genuine and from the heart. You can tell he is for real, and that obviously come across to kids and parents alike. He further has surrounded him with people having the same principals.
You only have to look at the Petey prodiges over the last couple of months, at UW and Tennessee and see how they treat situations and people, and realize they are the type of people that Petey chooses to have around him. Needless to say, while we paid our dues, we our now blessed again with NEU. Great work everyone, and I don’t think I hear enough props for Guerreo and the great choices he has made, from baseball, basketball and football, have proven to be absolute home runs. Of course if you have been sleeping it has already started with the Lady Bruins basketball too. IMO The next 4-5 years at Westwood are going to be simply amazing! Again because of a great foundation built by DG.
