Scott Wolf (Daily News)/Trojies Spreading Garbage/Lies About UCLA Football Coaches

Now that Neuheisel and his coaches ran circles around Petey and his poodles on signing day it looks there is a second dirty public relations assault (after their first one via Kenny, Petey's Poodle landed like a scud) coming from Southern Cal.

This time the launcher for this scud attack is Scott Wolf who is trying to make a mountain out of molehill by spreading rumors and inenuendos around the Toma signing:

Several readers emailed me today that in Honolulu, Robert Kekaula, the sportscaster from the ABC affiliate (KITV) weighed in on the Manti Te'o-Robby Toma controversy with some interesting comments. I don't live in Hawaii, obviously, so I spoke to Kekaula just now.
``I said the story is Manti Te'o called UCLA to tell them he wasn't coming and that Roby got a phone call and they ripped into him for not getting Manti to come. It seemed obvious that was what happened after he decided he wasn't going to go to UCLA.
``It reeks of a 2 for 1 deal. I was told Roby tore up his UCLA paperwork at the signing ceremony.''

Of course I will not provide any link to that garbage and give him our traffic. Yet, Wolfie post this rumor without provding any kind of direct evidence whatsoever.

This is a total lie. There is nothing in Toma's statements re. his commitment to ND that substantiates the BS report in Wolfie's "report". As far as the allegation that Toma "tore up his UCLA paperwork in signing ceremony" people can look through the video of Te'o's signing ceremony to see if it happened. It's not there.

You can just sense what is going on. This is nothing but a cheap attempt to hurt UCLA coaches in the island given the extraordinary success they had this season.

In a way it's a good thing. We didn't see this nonsense during Dorrell era because there was no fear from South Central re. Dorrell. The recruting ball game has clearly changed and that is why we are seeing this kind of garbage smear coming out of Trojan shills.

GO BRUINS.
