Saturday In The Hoops Cathedral: Monday Pictures
Let's see if I can make this a regular Monday feature here on BN for rest of the season. Saturday by all accounts was a beautiful day in Pauley, which is also known around here as the Hoops Cathedral Coach Wooden built:

Jack Rosenfeld and E. Corpuz were fortunate to be there in person and as they have done all season long they were kind enough to email us a number of incredible shots to share with rest of the Bruin Nation. Jump with me after flip to take in a memorable Saturday in the Cathedral.
Breakfast with Ben started at 10:00 am to accomodate a national TV audience (about 80 percent of the country got to watch our Ben Ball warriors stomp the Irish). Our warriors were fired up and ready to go:

They were attacking inside:

and connecting from out:

They were going all out for every lose ball:

And playing that menacing Ben Ball defense:

As we mentioned before the relentless defense resulted in a number of fastbreaks:

Making our offense look effortless:

The Cathedral was rocking:

And celebrating a Legend's return:

The bench and our freshmen got in on all the fun:

Making their coach happy:

The day with ended with another Bruin victory:

Leaving everyone with feel good smiles except for Digger's Irish who were begging for some mercy:

Here is to more Ben Ball defense, tenacity around the boards, and relentless attacks on offense to keep Bruin Nation smiling through rest of this season.
GO BRUINS.

Leaving everyone with feel good smiles except for Digger’s Irish who were begging for some mercy.
It’s hilarious that you mentioned that. I recall that going into one of the commercial breaks near the end of the game, the backing track to the highlights of Bruin dunks and steals was a song called “Mercy” by Duffy, which says “You’ve got me begging you for mercy. . .” Classic.
Duffy song
After I got home from Pauley I re-watched the game on my DVR and I just about died laughing when I heard that song.
I bet the guys at FSN would have never thought of that one.
It's like reading a story book
Thanks. I enjoyed it.

Great photography
Jack Rosenfeld and E. Corpuz do such good work that I’m starting to get worried that Pauley will ban dSLRs at the game for fear of undercutting the media.
Allow me to add my own boastful testimony to the joy that was experienced by those on hand:

That kid is getting everywhere.

Saw it on the Big Screen
during the game and was amazed at how he knew every single word and was singing along to “Mighty Bruins”. Looked like he really enjoyed himself and was having a great time which is wonderful news.
Ha! What A Star!!
Excellent visual.
Love My Bruins
