Attention Den Members & Other BNers: A T-Shirt Idea
Can we make something like this happen before our last home game of the season?

We have batted around the idea of t-shirts before but have gotten stuck one way or another.
If any one here is interested and want to run with a simple concept like the one above, it could be worth it. It would be the opposite of Dump Dorrell t-shirts of course and a clear signal to rest of the word about how UCLA basketball fans feel about the best coach we have had since Wooden retired from Westwood.
As for proceeds from any venture like this, in this specific case only, I wouldn't really care as much someone using the name of bruinsnation.com. My main request would be the profits get directed to either our band or the Den, or something associated with UCLA on campus.
I don't think any of us on the frontpage has the time to manage something like this. However, if there is anyone here who would want to take the lead on it, it could turn out to be something very cool and as mentioned above a great statement on behalf of this community in support of our basketball coach.
So anyone here want to run with this project and get it done before next Sat? I will certainly buy at least two shirts.
GO BRUINS.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

We didn't have the time
to get it done. Plus UCLA’s counsel signaled that there would need to be discussions re our logo on any t-shirts. We didn’t have the time to deal with all that.
How about: "IN D WE TRUST"
We don’t need to put blanks or asterisks in place of the G and O in ‘GOD,’ as we don’t want to give the wrong idea about anyone’s beliefs.
And again, I am 100% in CBH’s corner, but I don’t necessarily want to make it about one single person over the entire team.
Besides, if there’s anything CBH is known for, it’s D< so people will know it’s backing CBH anyway.

Just a thought.
"In this program your passion bucket must be full to play SC." -- CRN, to Dan Patrick, 1/2008
I think we should direct this towards Howland
because of all the recent narrative about some fans not being happy with him this year. It would send a compelling message that UCLA fans are unquestionably behind their head coach. Just my 2 cents.
True; I'd forgotten about that.
“In Ben We Trust” is perfectly fine by me.

Love the shirt...
I’d definitely also buy 2.
Anything to show my full support for CBH!!

I like it.
How about bigger lettering up front, though?

Like it too
I could have undertaken this but I think it’s too late. Normally, you have to order a set amount in order to bargain pricing. Having a lot of shirts left over won’t be good. There are shipping costs, payment logistics, how much people would pay, how many they’d buy, etc. All these little issues that need to be addressed. It would have been a good idea to start selling these prior to and throughout the season. I do love the idea of donating the money to the band or Den. I personally would like to give it to the band so they can travel and support our teams.
I do think a “Neu Era” or “Passion Bucket” or something else would be a good idea for the upcoming football season. Same idea as this with BN.com on the back.
NEU ERA shirts already available
@ http://www.cafepress.com/beatsc as well as some other classics like:
You can’t spell “TROJAN” without “OJ”
or
If you’re not cheating, you’re not trOJan
CafePress
You can set it up easily at CafePress and you don’t have to worry about inventory. They only make them when they are ordered.
Someone can set up the account and when it has earned enough money to warrant a check ($25) someone cashes the check and then writes one for the same amount to the Bruin charity of their choice.
All in all, really not that hard.
I am with the post below, one with the Bruins Nation logo would be awesome.
In small text on the back it should say
“I expected an exotic sports car and a six figure salary, but I wasn’t a football player…”
I'm still waiting to pick up a shirt with this one one the chest:

A coach is someone who can give correction without causing resentment. John Wooden
with the butt attached of course.
