Pac-10 Spring FB Position Analysis
So I was reading the Ted Miller Neuheisel interview that Nestor put up this morning and did a little more searching on ESPN.com. Ted Miller has a position review up for all of the PAC-10 teams. I don't know about the other teams, but it looks like he did a pretty fair analysis of UCLA. Overall, he rated UCLA fourth in the PAC in terms of depth across all positions for this spring.

One thing I am noticing is that more and more sports writers are talking about how USC is going to be vulnerable this year. I can't say I disagree. They lost several coaches and 6 of their front 7 on defense. Granted they're still loaded with talent, but that doesn't always translate into W's when the coaching and cohesion is not there.
If our O-line can put it together and we can find a QB that is reliable (two big IFs, but I have faith and Chow and Paclic), I believe that we could give USC a really good run for their money this time around, not to mention the rest of the PAC. My dream is for us to go into Tennessee and beat them at home this year. I think something like that would set the tone for an outstanding season, and send a big message to the rest of the country that the SEC isn't all the end all, be all of college football.
In any case, read up on the competition next year. It made me pretty optimistic about our chances next season.
