Spring Game FAQ
I would like to start discussion about the Spring Game this year. As much as I wanted to make last year's Spring Game, I was not able to make it. I am however locked in for this year's edition at the Rose Bowl.
I'm wondering if I should treat this like any regular season, and drag out all the tailgating gear, tables, and chairs. Or is it more of a catered party for the Bruin Faithful?

It's all about the excitement!
I plan on doing a little tailgating before the Spring Game. You could always check out the booths and other stuff set up for everyone to enjoy, but to me, tailgating and being with friend are the what makes attending football games special. Discuss new recruits and player development with friends, enjoy some BBQ and beer, relax, enjoy the day, and be excited about what our football team might be able to accomplish this season.
I went at the last minute with my son...
… and it was AWESOME. My little boy was a real trooper as we hung around asking for coaches’ autographs — and I am still proud of the fact I got Kirk, Spock and MCCoy’s sigs all on one football.
But most of all, shots of my little boy in his #1 jersey, gritting his teeth and holding the football aloft with both hands, as the RB scoreboard and a pitch-black sky draped the background… no money in the world could buy that.

Treat it like a game
That’s what CRN is hoping for. He’s been trying real hard to create a buzz around this program and it would be great if you brought the BBQ and the rest of the gear. Consider it practice for the regular season. I know we’re setting up a pre-game tent for former players and inviting them ALL to attend, so it should be a great time.
