Holiday leaning toward ... returning?
This is good news, right? He wouldn't say that unless he really meant it. It would be painful if he didn't come back

Not to throw cold water on this, but it’s hard to get a read on what’s going to happen right after the fact. There’s a lot of emotion talking.
I can see why he would leave
after all, the temptation of Millions would be hard for anybody to pass up.
But, I find it hard to believe he would be drafted very high if at all. I think he is singular talent with a great future. But, the best thing he can do right now is to work on his game here at UCLA under CBH who has proven he can forge the qualities the NBA is looking for into a player.

There's 0.0% chance he doesn't declare IMO
He may pull his name out of the draft after the workouts, but he’ll definitely declare. Count on him leaving though and I don’t blame him. It’s tough to turn down the chance to be a lottery pick.

Yup
He can still declare and test the waters, and he seems like the kind of athlete who would work out super well for scouts and GMs.

Jrue
I believe that Jrue will return. He knows that he will not be a lottery pick, or even get picked for that matter. He is a good player. And IMO, he will have a breakout year next year @U-C-L-A!
Go Bruins!
um....what?
He knows that he will not be a lottery pick, or even get picked for that matter.
Wow…I honestly don’t even know what to say to that…

perception is reality
in terms of the draft and the scouts are definitely down on him.
i don’t know if it’s my bad eyes but i don’t see him on the board at nbadraft.net
also, it’s interesting that they have DC slotted to go to OKC joining RW for an all UCLA backcourt.
NBAdraft.net updated
Now has him at #28. Draftexpress.com has him at #20. Of course, a couple days ago, Draftexpress had him not going in 2009 at all, and had him at #3 for the 2010 draft. So…yeah, he’s got to know he can improve greatly.
Has anyone ever checked the stats on these draft prognosticators?
It would be interesting to see just how accurate their predictions turn out to be.
That's tough to do, because they constantly change their draft order based on the news/perception of the week.
If you look a week or two before the draft, quite a few of the sites are fairly good at putting players in the correct range (ie: lottery, mid-first, late-first, etc.). At this point in the game though, they’re all making a ton of assumptions about who stays and who goes, they don’t have any material from the pre-draft workouts to base their opinions on, and I would be shocked if the draft plays out like many of them have it right now.
