Around SBN: Cal RB Jahvid Best Seriously Injured, Carted Off Field

This is just for fun and I know it's probably too early to start making any predictions. But check out where this particular draft has DC going... Yep. Lakers!

Now, for selfish reasons, I would love to see DC in the purple and gold, and we know the lakers could use another good bruin on its team. But DC going 29th??? I suppose it's still first round, but I think one of the most efficient college guards would get selected earlier than 29.

Anyway, the thought of being able to watch DC play for my second favorite team made a little happier today.

Note that this also has JH going 12th to the Bucks

But, if they have DC listed as a Junior and Eric Maynor going ahead of DC, I’m not sure how much credence I would lend to this.

didn't even notice that mistake

I question all mock drafts, but it’s interesting to see where people place these players. There is an over emphasis on scoring in most drafts and DC’s defensive abilities will probably never get the credit that it deserves.

this mock draft is bizarre

dejaun blair at 16?
ty lawson at 20?

the arizona schools have 3 people in the top 10? but UNC only has one person at 20?

wha?

another mock draft

there seem fairly different, and i have no idea how credible either of them are. the only good thing in my eye is that the one below has shipp as getting drafted (though in the 2nd round).

I don't have a favorite NBA team

My hoops fix is UCLA ball and fantasy NBA basketball. But if Oklahoma City gets Blake Griffin/Hasheem Thabeet/Jordan Hill with their lottery pick, and then DC with one of their next two picks (one in the late first round, one in the early second round) to team with RW, Durant, Jeff Green, and (let’s not forget) Earl Watson…well…

PG Darren Collison
SG Russell Westbrook
SF Kevin Durant
PF Jeff Green
C Blake Griffin/Hasheem Thabeet/Jordan Hill

…how can that NOT be my NBA team?
