Great KNBC feature on JF's charity work (involving UCLA). Jordan is helping out kids who have had to make Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA a second home. HT to bruinbabe2000. GO BRUINS.

Jordan does our program and, more importantly, our school proud.
Let it never be said that Coach Howland doesn’t recruit quality guys, not just players, but people.
Special side note to the SUCsters: This is what a charitable foundation is supposed to be for. Helping the less fortunate, not funneling money to your player-for-hire.

I know there are some who aren't happy that JF left early...
… including some in m own extended family. They figure that kids make a commitment, and they should stick to it. I get that.
But then I like to tell them about the things that early-entry guys do to give back. This is a GREAT example.
JF doesn’t just donate jerseys or signed gear, although we know he does that, too.
But something like THIS? And for little kids at the UCLA Children’s Hospital, too? Excuse me, there’s something in my eye…
He may not have gotten his degree (YET!) from UCLA, but let there be no doubt — Jordan Farmar is, and always will be, a BRUIN.
