UCLA in the NBA - Season stats
Here is the final installment of our Bruins' stats in the NBA. Overall, the averages are below the league averages, though obviously there are some standouts. Only 4 of our boys will be in the playoffs, (Farmar, Ariza, Afflalo and Hollins).

cool
Thanks, now I don’t have to look them all up individually. By the way, i think there’s a typo under Arron Afflalo’s 3 point stats. He can’t possibly attempt 40 per game.

%
Unless it was just fixed before I looked at it, the 40 represents his 3 point percentage, with only 1.5 attempts per game.

couple comments...
First off, much thanks, this is a very cool summary.
It appears that there something amiss with KL’s 3-pt numbers… 0.0 makes but 10.5%?
Also, who is the mystery Bruin who was/is in Dallas (the name is missing on my screen) and would that make another Bruin in the playoffs? Or perhaps those are Ryan Hollins’ numbers (he is listed in the row directly above) and he swapped teams mid-season?
Thanks again.

Hollins was traded from Charlotte to Dallas mid-season
As for the 0.0, 0.2, and 10.5% for KL’s 3pt statistics, there must be some round-off error. At 0.2 3pt attempts per game, in 81 games, that would give KL somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 to 20 attempts all season long. My guess is he went 2-for-19 from beyond the arc on the season for a 10.5% make percentage. Two makes in 81 games would give him, on average, 0.02 makes/game which would round off to 0.0.

RW leads all Bruins in scoring
If you predicted that prior to the season, raise your hand. RW’s ascent from unknown his junior year in high school, to a 5-minutes per game backup as a freshman, to top scoring ex-Bruin in the NBA in what would have been his junior year is nothing short of astounding.

"Only 4 of our boys will be in the playoffs"
I thought all the NBA teams made the playoffs, sort of like hockey and almost like baseball.

What's even sadder
Only 5 teams in the Eastern conference were above .500. That is just pathetic. Too many teams, too much talent dilution.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
