Trevor Bauer Named National Player of the Week
Freshman right-hander Trevor Bauer of the UCLA baseball team has earned Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week honors after having fired a one-hit complete game shutout in UCLA's 13-0 victory over Washington on Saturday, April 18.
Bauer became UCLA's first pitcher to throw a one-hit complete game since April 13, 1998, when Tony Righetti limited Hawai'i-Hilo to one hit in a 16-0 win at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
