PAA playing in Hershey All Star Game today
I am so happy for PAA. This is an all star game for college seniors and it seems to focus on players that are possible 2nd round picks. The game is on the CBS College Sports Channel which thankfully I get, but most probably don't.
Go get em PAA!!!

Just Saw PAA
grab the ball and slip a bee-yoo-ti-ful pass by three defenders in the paint for a basket while the commentators taked about how valuable he was to UCLA.
His “Reese’s” team now leads 64-56.

PAA--Another Offensive Rebound
he scores, and he’s wearing those blue & gold Adidas.

And..
a huge grin with his “UCLA” mouthpiece.
Priceless.

Anyone know if DC and JS were invited?

Don't Think So.
Not sure what the precise selection parameters are.

Reeses Wins
Our PAA and Gonzaga’s Heytvelt were a deadly combo.
The commentators mentioned that Coach Howland was there to support Alfred.
(We’re so lucky.)

Well CBH goes to the Final Four every year
with just about every other coach in the country. They have the NABC convention at the Final Four every year and it’s a huge gathering of coaches. It’s great to see PAA play in a game like this and hopefully some scouts out there were impressed. If they were and asked CBH about PAA, I’m sure CBH had plenty of great things to say about him.

Didn't Sound
like the other players’ coaches were actually at that game, though. The commentators made a very big deal about Howland being there.

Gotta love the creative ways of
bringing Reeses into the commentary: After Aboya’s crazy, ill-fated no-look over-the-head outlet pass, one says “Oh boy, I bet if Howland saw that, he would need a Hershey’s Kiss right about now”

They Were Hilarious.
They had a lot to say about Coach Howland-all positive.

The color commentator
cracked me up. He had such a strong Boston accent and his corny “key pieces for the Reeses” team was hilarious.

Thanks
for the info on the game! I was bummed I couldn’t get it but happy to hear PAA made us proud. Also glad to hear a positive comment re Heytvelt ….. he went to HS with my grandson and I’m glad to see his positive turn around.

Box score
I cant find a boxscore for the game (maybe tomorrow morning), but I am pretty sure PAA ended with 7 points and a good amount of rebounds in addition to his always solid D. Gonzaga’s Hetvelt really impressed me and I could definitely see a team taking him early in the second round. PAA showed some good big-to-big passing with him which is huge considering he is really a power forward who played center for us this year.

Dentmon had 22
This is all I could really find. UW’s Dentmon along with BC’s Rice were the stars of the game with Dentmon going for 22. UCF’s Jermaine Taylor also helped himself (I’ve never heard of him and I am assuming most are in the same position) scoring 23 points and might get a look or two now as well. I’m really glad that the NABC has this event as it gives the unsung seniors of the NCAA show off what they can do on a great stage.

It's so hilarious to me that you say Jermaine Taylor will get a look or two NOW.
I, Like you, just heard of Taylor yesterday when he was on a slam dunk contest on ESPN. The announcers (I dont remember except for the lizard) all were talking about his sick skills and he’s actually been watched for a couple years. He was recruited as a WR for FSU and Miami (FL.). Basically, he’s a rediculous athlete. This was not the first time anyone heard of him. He’s projected first round. haha but I was surprised as I had never seen him.

Aboya will play in P.I. Tournament
The senior exposure circuit continues for Alfred as the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament takes place in Portsmouth, Washington starting Wednesday. The lineup of players is impressive to say the least with appearances by A.J. Abrams, Jon Brockman, Aboya, Robert Dozier (a.k.a. the roided out thug from Memphis), Lavance Fields and Sam Young from Pitt. and too many more to name here. I wish this tournament was in L.A. because I’d definitely go.

umm
the roided out thug from Memphis
Dozier is as skinny a player that you’ll find…roided out? where did THAT come from?
