I could get behind Kareem as the new Governator.

Alas, I can’t vote in California, but I’m sure there are plenty of people who would vote for him. I don’t see anything wrong with having an educated, atriculate, insightful, etc., person running the State. I don’t know if he’s democrat or republican, but I suspect he would be above all things an independent thinker. Who else would be better?

Honestly

I wouldn’t wish that on him. This state is ungovernable except in good times. Totally dysfunctional, can’t figure out if they are liberals or conservatives, be it socially, politically or economically.

I would much prefer he become a senator for California…

But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.

It would be nice

But I think he’s too smart for that. He enjoys writing books on African American history and I think he is either an assistant coach or consultant for the Lakers.

Funny how I appriciate him more now than I did 25 years ago when he was playing for the Lakers.
