Kevin Craft took a beating last year. Both on the field and off of it. If I could address him personally, I would want him to know what tremendous respect I have for him for what he did on the field last year. I would hope that his gutty comeback performance against Tennessee is recognized in Bruin lore for years to come. I’ll always put it up there with Pat Cowan’s 13-9 performance against USC as a very special memory for me. And not just because I was there for those games. (Although, I have to admit that being part of the roaring crowd probably does have a lot to do with my memories of those games.)

It was homecoming, and I drove out from AZ to see it. Now that I live in Iowa I will have to make sure to come out again this year…I must be a lucky charm (yeah, right).

MexiBruin, I completely agree. KC will always hold a special place in my heart because of the way he competed. Who knows, we may see him take the field again…hopefully after we are blowing people out.

Mexi & hi are absolutely right: Kevin Craft is a true blue Bruin warrior, with no “quit” in him. he is absolutely fearless, and I will never, ever forget him.
