Stumbled into this video while browsing around vimeo yesterday. The video itself is kind of uneventful (but the topic is certainly timely). For some reason I couldn't stop watching it. Not bad for a Film School project (I will give this a B+. Would have given him A if he got it narrated by CBH or something).
Also on another note, I wonder why more folks don't use vimeo instead of youtube. The quality seems so much better. Anyone have ideas?

I agree with your grade.
I realize how hard it is to get access to a place like Pauley much less to actual players, but as well done as it was, it needed some actual people in it. Even if only scanned photos of Bruin Greats. The action shots around 2:25 needed some people shooting, or balls hitting “nothing but net.” I would like to have seen some stand ins wearing UCLA practice gear running drills; focus would have to be on something else in the foreground, so the players are in the background doing there thing, and to ‘soft’ to tell they are not actually members of the BBall team.
OK, enough grading. Solid job all around. Good job, Stephen Greenwood! Go Bruins! Go Melnitz!

Maybe
the assignment did not allow for any live people, or even shots of people…maybe it was about capturing the “mystique” of a location…
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.

Not bad at all
Loved the music. The images were set very nicely with the music.
Also, how about that shot from the very worst seats of Pauley in the high corner looking down at the court? Those seats really do suck that badly.
Overall, it was very well done.

Vimeo
I don’t know the slightest thing about uploading videos, but I know our video department is using Vimeo more than YouTube (though we still have a YouTube channel).

Really? That's interesting
Do you have examples? Would love to see it.
