E.J. Turner -- Son of Late Bruin Great Eric Turner -- Commits to the Bruins
The Ventura County Star has the story:
E.J. Turner of Ventura High has made a verbal commitment with the UCLA football program.
Turner caught 32 passes for 378 yards and two TDs for Ventura last season.
His father, the late Eric Turner, was an All-America defensive back at UCLA.

Welcome home E.J.
Safe to say, I doubt we’ll lost many more sons of ex-players to the dark side…thank you CRN.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.

Ditto
Eric Turner was special. How great to have his kid follow.
Tasser, you are so right — with CBH and CRN we will not lose Bruin legacies to other schools.

Eric Turner
One of my favorite Bruins of all time. I still believe the final score would have been different if he was in the last Bruin defense series of their last football game in 1990.
