Damage Control: U$C* Caves Into PR Pressure, FINALLY Issues A Statement On Investigations
Looks like the SuCsters are in full damage control mode. After remaining silent for months (if not years) they have finally issued a wishy-washy statement in response to the overwhelming national interest in the blockbuster allegations that have rocked its major programs. The PR polished/tested statement doesn't tell us anything new. GO BRUINS.

I heard this before, I think
Every trOJie just wants to find out the real truth. And OJ will spend the rest of his life looking for the real killer (assuming he’s in the same slammer.)
They apparently assume that the rest of the world has the same IQ as their undergraduate population, and will actually believe that garbage.

That's that...
I guess everything is fine in south central, no problems, everyone is full of professionalism and integrity. After all, the clearly state that they are committed to “truth” and “playing by the rules.”
..
..
And if you believe that, you probably believed British PM Chamberlain when he said “Herr Hitler only wants to restore Germany’s borders of 1914 and is an honorable man of peace…”
Easy money and faithless women, red-eye whiskey for the pain...

That's an insult, sir
Chamberlain was far tougher on his adversaries than the NCAA is on theirs.

What did they actually say?
They read from the cue cards and basically said:
1. We take this seriously
2. We tried to interview Lake (who wouldn’t agree because he is a FELON! SEE! SEE!)
3. We will continue to take this seriously
I mean, we already knew they were doing nothing but thank God they have a video now so that that the Trojay faithful can see “We are doing something, we made a video.”
I say Bullsh*t

Sorry everyone: I found M Garrett to be very sincere.
What I found particularly convincing were the following comments:
No one wants to find out what happened . . . Can anyone here deny this?
and what about this gem? No one would like to . . . . put this whole thing behind us, more than I do.
The truth just oozes out of his mouth, I think.

Garrett is an idiot
He’s the one guy we Bruins want to stay there. He’s only had one good hire in his entire tenure, Petey, and he lucked into that hire. Petey was his FOURTH choice (or was Petey his 3rd choice?).

Spin, spin, spin
Nice taped VIDEO messages from the SC* lawyers and spin machine. The cowards wouldn’t dare hold a press conference or allow themselves to actually answer direct questions like:
“Did Floyd do it?
Did OJ do it? Yes, I meant both OJ1 and OJ2. Just an FYI, you may want to stay away from guys with those initials in the future.
Did you win a lot of games riding the SCandal-ridden Reggie Bush train?
Do your white football players start fun social clubs in glorification of ‘White Power?’
Do you have animal abusers for coaches?
Is the Pope Catholic?
Is Petey an arrogant prick?
Do you own the police?
If a Bruin bear takes a big crap on the floor in Pauley East, will there be any SC* students (let alone any SC* players not named Romeo) around to see it?"
And so forth and so on.

How appropriate
They have a guy named DICKEY spouting their lies.
