I know-hard to believe
Why do bad things keep happening to people at USC? It's not because they aren't good people, is it? Oh. Wait.
In an unusual twist, the lawsuit claims that USC was negligent because the university provided the vehicle to Watson and "was aware of or should have been aware of [his] addiction to prescription pain medications." Valentin further alleges that USC's own doctors knew about Watson's addiction and prescribed him with excessive pain medication.
Maybe USC doctors also treated Michael Jackson at the end.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Ahh! I get it now…
But no.. UCLA doctors treated Jackson in the end. Remember? But he had been dead for a while at that point…
Being dead is not necessarily a major problem for a UCLA doctor.
That’s why the ambulance guys took him to Westwood rather than any of the many closer hospitals.
Being Dead
I recall a story of a UCLA intern who called a code after rigor had started to set in—the attending was not amused.
