LRMAM Is Making His Mark
Bumped. GO BRUINS. -N
The Bruin Prince is getting attention for his classic Ben Ball warrior traits - intensity, hustle & DEFENSE - beyond Milwaukee and Howlandwood:
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute doesn't strike you as being star player material on first glance. He doesn't have an amazing shooting touch, he doesn't dominate the glass, and he isn't a high-flying dunker who winds on the nightly replays. In fact, unless you're a fan of the Milwaukee Bucks or the UCLA Bruins you'd probably have a hard time recalling exactly who he plays for off the top of your head.
You don't have to see too many Bucks games to recognize his value to the team, however. He's not the leading scorer or top assist man, but he is the hustle guy who does all the dirty work that often makes the difference between a win and a loss. He gets the key defensive stop, tips the ball to save a possession, or hit the open jay when a teammate has drawn a double-team. Now, after a solid - even surprising - rookie season, Mbah a Moute is in Las Vegas, putting his body on the line for the Bucks' summer league team.
"I really just want to get to play with Brandon (Jennings), Jodie (Meeks), and to get to run up and down against tough competition," Mbah a Moute tells HOOPSWORLD. "I'm working with some of the same staff I work with during the summer, and that's good experience for me."

I love that guy
Absolutely one of my favorite Bruins ever. It’s just too bad he has to toil in obscurity in Milwaukee.

He Will Make His Mark
They are so, so lucky to have him there…and my guess is he won’t be there for too long.

Milwaukee is Really a Great Place
Having lived in Madison and worked a lot in Milwaukee — I can say it is a very livable city with many advantages, not the least of which are brats and beer.
Or, are you saying to bad he’s on the Bucks?

Nothing against the city
But the fact is that the Bucks won’t ever be on national tv and aren’t expected to compete for a championship anytime soon (especially since they have to keep their payroll low).
Luc will have to put in his 4 yrs in Milwaukee and then will hopefully get a good deal with a contender after that.
