Watched DC at NBA Summer League in LV today
DC had 18 points in the first quarter before he rolled his ankle on a drive to the basket. He was being guarded by first rounder Johnny Flynn from Syracuse, but DC was having his way with him. The crowd was buzzing about some of his drives to the basket. Hopefully the ankle isn't too serious. DC is going to have a solid NBA career.

Watched Some Of This
on TV yesterday…while some players rein in their intensity in these games, DC looked like he was going at it the whole time.
I like to watch Johnny Flynn play—it was an exciting match-up, IMHO—and it really showed off DC’s style. (Have you noticed that it’s always “JohnnyFlynn,” not just “Flynn?” The hubs & I commeted on that during the tournament. Funny.)
I suspect that our DC has more gears than the NBA pundits who commented on his “lack of speed” realized. Just my opinion.
