High Five: Dodger Fans Boo Pete Carroll (Giants' Fan) At Chavez Ravine
From the AP game notes of the Blue Crew's 12-3 demolition of Cincy Reds (emphasis added):
The Reds haven't won at Dodger Stadium since July 28, 2005. ... The Dodgers' home winning streak over the Reds is the second-longest in baseball behind Milwaukee, which has defeated Pittsburgh 18 consecutive times at home, according to Stats LLC. ... Los Angeles improved to 48-0 this season when leading after eight innings. ... Reds 2B Brandon Phillips didn't start Tuesday as a result of not running out a fly ball a night earlier. He tried to stretch a single into a double and was thrown out after the ball fell between two outfielders. ... USC football coach Pete Carroll smiled when he heard himself booed after being shown on the big screen.
The magical summer at Chavez Ravine just got even better.
Now let's see if the Halos fan can match that if Petey ever shows up in Anaheim. It will tell a lot about which Southern California baseball team really represents (UC)LA.
GO BRUINS.

Interesting
Well color me conflicted now over my dislike of Dodger fans. Eh, this raises them up one notch in my book. That puts them at notch 1.
Oh UCLA you sweet bitch, you've BRUINed me for anything else.
My thoughts exactly
My least favorite fanbase booing my least favorite coach is a start.
Bay Area fan going to UCLA.
I haven't found any evidence that he is a Giants fan
How do you figure he’s a Giants fan? He’s from SF, but all signs show that he enjoyed the Dodger rout of the Reds even while booed out of Chavez Ravine.
Bay Area fan going to UCLA.
he's been to AT&T
I’ve definitely seen him on tv at AT&T and he also looked like he was enjoying himself there. Probably just being a sleeze and trying to get a better PR.

It would make sense
Considering he used to be defensive coordinator for the 49ers.
Actually, it wouldn’t surprise me if he somehow rooted for both the Giants and the Dodgers, depending on where he was recruiting at the time. It would be kind of like those people you run into in LA who say they’re an SC fan during football season and a UCLA fan during basketball season.

Pete is a Giants fan
Pete has gone on record saying he is a Giants fan. It was during the Dodger-Red Sox game at the Coliseum.

If he's a Giants fan
Then he’s a horrible one. His Twitter indicates that he likes Manny as well as the Dodgers.
Pete Carroll’s Twitter
No good Giants or Dodgers fan can like the other team. He sounds more like a bandwagoner to me.
Bay Area fan going to UCLA.
He's a (insert the home team here) fan
Just like the fanbase of the de facto pro team he coaches…worthless bandwagon crap.
Was there a particular reason the knowledgeable Dodger fans booed Cheatie?
Or was it based on his entire body of work?
Standing Ovation
That’s what he’d get at an Angels game. The OC crowd would be on their knees for him. Just another reason to be a Dodger fan(if there weren’t already enough!!)
Ok, I don't want to rain on this parade
But I read on “True Blue LA” that Cheaty was sitting with Antonio Villarigosa last night. Perhaps they were booing the mayor instead. DWD, since you were there, what is your call?
Is that the spin from Heritage Hall?
Throw the Mayor under the bus :)
But hey, what do I know. Iām just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
Cheaty Peety Was Booed
I was at the game, and when he was first shown on screen and presented with a check (which he will likely use to pay off one of his thugs, I mean athletes) there was a noticeable mix of boos and cheers. I was booing Cheaty Peety, and was mad at Villaretardo for not punching him in the gut. Anyhow, the second time he was shown on the big screen, he was the only one on screen and what happened next was simply delightful. The cheers came first, followed by a much louder wave of boos. These boos were loud enough to easily drown out the cheers from the bandwagon $c fanbase at the Ravine. It was something I truly didn’t see coming, but, it was great.
Go Bruins.
