76ers rookie PG Jrue holiday took batting practice and tossed out the first pitch at Citizens Bank Park as the Phillies hosted the Padres on July 23. I guess he looks confident. More at The700Level.com. GO BRUINS.

I would expect....
…a professional athlete to throw from the top of the mound, not the front of it.

I say
good for him. Not my favorite and probably will never be. He’s was a Bruin. And b/c most people won’t know or care about the dram over the summer, they’ll see him as an alumni like DC and others were. Hopefully he’ll do show class and represent UCLA well.

In Philly?
I would have bet at least even odds he’d get boo’d.

-1 for not climbing the mound
+1 for no mom jeans.

Good For Jrue
It’s cool that he got to hit…I haven’t seen that part of the “ceremonial first pitch” routine before.
Nice smile, friendly attitude, having fun with the Phillies…well done, Jrue.

what is up with his dad's constant single headphone??
I always thought he did this at games to listen to the radio broadcast. Now I see him underdressed and with the headphone again when his son is about to throw out the first pitch. Really? Please tell me he is hearing impaired and this is some sort of sound enhancer. For some reason I don’t think it is.
