OT: The Downfall of the MSM

I work in media relations and yesterday, one of my co-workers sent this video around this office. Needless to say, it was quite a hit. Since we sometimes talk about how the quality of the MSM falls more and more each day, I figured everyone here deserved a good laugh. This actually aired on WJW-TV in Cleveland.

So I saw that I'm not at the word minimum yet, so I'll wish everyone a happy and safe holiday weekend, and the lead contender for the name of our little guy is Jonathan. While Mr. BB stresses he is not being named after any athlete, should we go with Jonathan, I'll be happy he'll share the same name as one of the best athletes in UCLA history.

One of my co-workers used to be a TV reporter

He said what he thought happened was that the producer heard there was a bear sighting, and sent the reporter to investigate. When the reporter said there was nothing, the producer said, “I don’t care, find something.” So the reporter said, “I’ll show you.” Since he spent seven years in TV news, I trust his opinion.

Well, it isn't official yet

But it is the leader. It’s funny. I always thought I would have something ready from the get-go, but over the weekend, Mr. BB asked if Jonathan is going to be the name and I said, “I can’t say for sure.” I’ve heard of couples who have two names picked out, then wait until the baby is born to decide. My sister-in-law also told me that even after you name the baby, you find yourself thinking if you gave him or her the right name.

As for his picture, we’ll take one of him watching his first football game. He already has his onesie ready to go, and I will probably get more stuff when I go out to LA next month.
