Apparently Akeem (10) was one of the defensive standouts this past Saturday. Per Erik Boal of the Daily News he went "from practically shaking hands with quarterback Kevin Prince on one play ... to running stride for stride for 20 yards with Logan Paulsen on the next play, before knocking away the ball from the fifth-year senior tight end."

As I mentioned earlier this week we are going to need him to step up even more this year to supplement Reggie in the middle. He has the potential to be one of the more explosive athletes we have seen play the LB position at UCLA and you can sense that he might be putting himself in position for a fun season. GO BRUINS.
