Kia is out indefinitely with a torn ACL

Hi all,

Well, it looks like the injury to Micah Kia is not good. I was really hoping to see him "turn it on" this year and give our team a good 20-25 plays at guard this year... I think a platoon of Hasiak and Kia would have helped both players, and our team a bit. Well, at least if Sua'Filo really does go on a mission next year, Kia could step in...

I had a feeling this was coming. That’s crap! Get well soon Micah!

Terrible news.

He’s definitely out for the season. But for the first time in a while, I’m not freaking out over the news of an offensive lineman going down. We finally have some depth at guard with Hasiak, who was likely going to be a starter anyway. Now he will have to step up and give us some stability at the position. I’m confident he can do that.

Yeah, this news blows...

Starter – no starter. Depth he could have provided would have been very useful…

I heard

they were talking about moving Courtney Viney to Offensive Line to provide depth.

Silver Lining?

XSF goes on Mormon mission next year…. and Micah Kia is still eligible to play because he can take a medical redshirt this year.

I'd say so

but if we land Seantrell Henderson (sp?) he still may not start…
