Who are OJ's Peers in Court?
On appeal at the Nevada Supreme Court (see link http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_oj_simpson for details), OJ's fellow felon CJ Stewart has a compelling argument.: by being tried alongside OJ, instead of via a separate trial, his defense was hopelessly prejudiced. Here is the key proposition made by Stewart's attorney, referring to defendent Simpson:
"In the history of jurisprudence who else could we possibly imagine would be more prejudicial?" Bryson asked rhetorically about his client being tried with Simpson. "Charlie Manson, maybe? Dahmer? Hitler? Satan? Who else sitting next to someone they have on trial? It was extremely prejudicial."
Meanwhile in other news, John Wooden is selected greatest US sports coach of all time and many articles fondly remember Rafer Johnson as an athlete, a man, and an Olympic torchbearer. Fight on (appeal)....
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Nice points, 7477
There aren’t a lot of transplanted Angelinos where I live. Not a lot of people with understandable loyalty to UCLA or arrogant, blind, perverted loyalty to just$c*. It has been a very good group for an experiment – Who is the face of UCLA and who is the face of just$c*? I confess that many times when I ask that question, I just get blind stares, but if I mention Coach and OJ1, I invariably get a lot of “Oh, yeah, you’re right” comments. (Please also, I beg the forgiveness of everyone for using Coach’s name in the same sentence with that person .)
I wonder if anyone is making book on OJ’s likelihood of walking on bail pending appeal?

Actually, OJ's lawyer has a great position on that...
A major reason not to release someone on bail is that he/she could skip the country. OJ’s lawyer says OJ couldn’t possibly do so, because “He is probably the one individual on the planet who’s got no place to go and no place to hide.” (See link http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/more/08/03/oj.ap/index.html?eref=si_mostpopular for more.)
<This is apparently because OJ can always be found on the links or at an SC football practice, despite rumors that he is hot on the trail of Nicole and Ron’s murderer.>

And for ultimate chutzpah...
In the same article, OJ’s lawyer modestly notes, “If ever there’s someone who deserves release it’s OJ Simpson…”

My sentiment on that is best expressed
-1(If ever there’s someone who deserves release it’s OJ Simpson)
Troy will fall.
