BN Gameday: 2nd Quarter Tennessee Thread
Well we are hanging in there. Tennessee is up 10-3 but those points came courtesy of Bruin mistakes.
Our boys came out fighting.
Let's hope they can keep it up. Fire it away.
GO BRUINS.

why was that not a safety
tennesee’s punt “return”
you have to have posession and then enter the EZ to be a safety
he just touched it – live ball – but didnt posess it until the ball entered the EZ.
oh man
this is getting ridiculous. cmon, stay focused
Look - I know NC has forgotten more football than I'll ever know, but
can mix up 1st down now? Every time it’s a run and they’re stacking the line
Running Game
We need to run to the edge with Franklin/thigpen

i know some of this is expected but enough is enough…

Thigpen
We need Thigpen’s speed and quickness. how about some misdirection plays.
KP taking all those hits might be a display of toughness,
but it’s not kind to your body. We need him for the long run.
I just want to say,
I’m very impressed with our passion in this game right now. Unlike previous years where we just fell apart on the road, we are in a tough environment and playing through. I’m loving this.

WE ARE IN THIS GAME!
I’m impressed with Prince and with how Neuheisel and Chow have come into this game. The kid — Prince — needs to settle down, as Coach said at the half, they can win it if he does. No more boneheaded snaps nor turnovers in the second half and we win this thing. TN is clearly overrated. We can win this thing. Handily if we choose to

next time they have the ball

Let me borrow a line from my friend 66
Our offense needs to be more like barn cats, not house cats. Yes, we have nothing to lose, but we need to go in for the kill.
our D will keep us in the game
but our Offense has to deliver the win… one solid drive and they should/could win this thing… but one big play from THEIR offense turns the momentum around… Go Bruin D… if they stop them again on this series we have to finish them off immediately
W.S. Montano Class of 1994
