these east coasters on Espn
are so biased…. he picked up five yards on that play and the play by play guy makes it sound like he gained a ton of yards…

Holmes on the tackle
like this kid, another young talented player
Our D looks tired
about 4-5 guys have hands on their hips
dude what do you want from this team?
they finally pressure him and gain no yards. is that a problem?

see a nice sustained drive that eats some clock.
Centric
Almost every comment you have made has been whiny. You were scared even before the game started. If you are going to keep that up, you won’t be around this thread much longer. Last warning.
I apologize if my comments have seemed whiny.
I honestly don’t remember posting anything that was much more whiny from anything anyone else is posting. I’ll watch what I post from now on though.
do i need to say it again??
we need a TD on this drive! this is way too close for our own health

We need a td
This possession AnD good clock management
We need some first downs
and some points. It doesn’t matter what we get …. we just need some first downs and points and we go up by 2 score.
although at this point
a FG is still good

9 players
made receptions for bruins today. spreading it around.
16 plays, 7:39
UT had to work hard for those 3 points. Keep them frustrated. Long sustained drive now.

Not getting so much distance this year
I thought we got some good distance on some.
Not so great on that one, but I remember some really good ones before.
ah that's pretty reasonable then
I stand corrected
Let's get the
3rd quarter defense back. We know they’ve got it in them!

A win's a win's a win, but it was an ugly win
What kept us alive were mistakes by the Volunteers, and what gave the Volunteers a chance to win the game was our penalties. I came in this game knowing we were a young team, and the likelihood of winning was not as high, but we came with the win. Hopefully we learn from our mistakes so we can get a lot better.
we had planty of mistakes too
and i’ll take an ugly “w” before a pretty “L” any time…

Same here, a win's a win's a win.
Some of the best games to watch are the close one’s. Just rather have a clean one.
It’s clear that this group of kids are younger and they have a lot of passion. This is a good start but let’s hope we learn from our mistakes and mature.
