Pre-game Guesses: Week 2 Results

First and foremost, what a huge win for UCLA. I agree that we still have a long way to go, but it's hard to argue with a 2-0 start and a "W" against the big bad SEC on the road. I think we showed people that our defense and special teams can win games. And as long as our offense doesn't turn it over a bunch, we will be competitive in most contests. My only other comment on the game was the absolutely terrible officiating. The personal foul on Ayers and the phantom offsides call at the end of the game stick out in my mind. Apparently the SPTR's have been conspiring with the SSR's. Either way, on to the results....

Achilles really raised the bar for the Tennessee game. If you don't remember, the questions were:

1. How many rushing yards will the Bruins have (within 10 yards)? 85 (ouch)

2. How many sacks will the Bruins have? 3 (not bad!)

3. How many turnovers will Tennessee have? 4 (pleasantly surprised...and Rahim Moore got robbed of a 3rd pick)

Last week's guesses yielded 4 BNers who got all 3 correct. This week was a much different story with only 3 even guessing 2 correctly. They were captainqtp, BruinsRule, and hwn44. Congrats! And here are your top ten (season to date) with total correct in parentheses:

1. bostonbruin (4)

2. HailRover (4)

3. mdjohns4 (3)

4. BruinFanBaby (3)

5. captainqtp (3)

6. uclafan11 (3)

7. sponkey21 (3)

8. dproduct (3)

9. Bellerophon (3)

10. YRLBruin (3)
