BN Gameday: Kansas State Second Half Thread

Jet Ski was on top of his game in first half against KSU. Let's hope he can keep it going. Photo Credit: Telemachus

Bruins lead the Wildcats by a score of 13-3 at the half (boxscore). Our defense started off slowly again looking a little out of sync against KSU's option. However, they have gotten their share of big plays to hold them to 3.

Meanwhile, on the offensive side Craft looks a little more confident than last year thanks to great night (so far from our offensive line). He did have one Ctaftian moment with long throw he shouldn't have made. But he looked confident, crisp and in rhythm in our first drive which ended with a TD score from Jet Skit. We are up by 10 but we can play much better if we can be a little more focused and eliminate costly mistakes.

JetSki has 74 yards rushing in 12 carries, while DC has barrelled for 46 in 6. In other words, hopefully we can keep pounding rock in second half to finish off this game.

Let's get the second half thread started.

GO BRUINS.

LOL

I am sure this will make a HUGE difference.

At least our thread is back to normal

perhaps that was the reason our defense was sluggish early on.

by Nestor on Sep 19, 2009 9:00 PM PDT reply actions

we get the ball first... we need a methodical,

time-eating, 75-yard drive… running 80% of the time and wearing their D-line down… play by play… Coach N. I’m sure hammered home the thought that play was pretty messy and could be better… The game is by no means won, but we’re one or two plays away from basically nailing the coffin. We just have to do it, hopefully sooner rather than later. Go Bruins!

about our Dominant D, that our D is one of the best in the country until it starts to play like a dominant D.

Somehow this myth got started and is continually perpetuated.
