Kevin Prince to return Oct.10

According to ESPN:

UCLA expects starting quarterback Kevin Prince, who broke his jaw in the waning moments of the win at Tennessee, to be "at least available" to play against Oregon on Oct. 10, according to coach Rick Neuhiesel.

The Bruins are off this weekend, so if Prince, a redshirt freshman, returns for the Oregon game he'd only miss last week's game with Kansas State and next week's visit to Stanford.

"We just got a call from the doctor saying all the healing is going as expected," Neuheisel said.

This is what we all expected. I work as a dental asst. and my father was an oral surgeon. He should have them taken out a few days prior to the game and should be fine. He is playing a violent sport  and if he was any average person he would be notified that it would probably take a week or 2 after getting the wires removed to feel normal. Since he does play a violent sport he may experience more discomfort than your average person after they have been taken out.

This really means that Stanford vs. UCLA is more than just a must win for relevance nationally.

Quick preview of that game ( I know a lot can change especially if Stanford has significant injuries against UW)

Stanford Offense has been pretty bland to say the least, while QB Andrew Luck has all the physical tools to be a really good QB he just isn't ready to lead a team. Jim Harbaugh has put the shackles on his young QB, San Jose State is awful and Harbaugh kept his QB to less than 20 pass attempts...Why?...because he just isn't ready thats why.

Toby Gerhart is a big time North/South power running back and that plays right into UCLA hands defensively. If you want to hurt the UCLA defense you must have a speed back who can get past that great UCLA front seven(remember this when CAL comes to town)

O-Line has good young talent starting 2 RS Freshman but imo they will be running into the best defense they have seen so far this year. Especially since UCLA will be coming off a BYE week at full strength (Aaron Hester could be back for this game)...YIKES!!

Stanford Defense begins and ends with the Defensive Ends. They cause havoc and they force running backs into the heart of that averge front seven. If UCLA's Mike Harris and X Su'a Filo have a good game then I'd expext a huge day Rushing and a lot of play action passes.

Special teams is very even. Niether team holds an advantage over the other imo.

UCLA's defense causes too much havoc and Stanford defense doesn't have depth to keep UCLA from running the ball.

I predict UCLA 31 Stanford 17
