For Those Looking To Head Up North: Stanford Ticket Information
Rebumped. GO BRUINS. -N
UPDATE - 10/2. CTO has returned a part of its ticket allotment to Stanford. As of 4pm, the Stanford ticket office has a limited number of tickets in the UCLA section remaining, specifically in the upper rows of section 226. Reserved seats elsewhere in the stadium, as well as general admission tickets do remain, and will remain available tomorrow morning at the stadium box office.
Bumped. Note if you are looking to get tickets in the UCLA section make sure you contact CTO as well. Let's swarm the Farm with a sea of Bruin blue. GO BRUINS.

For anybody thinking of making the trip to Palo Alto for Saturday's game that does not yet have tickets, Stanford does have tickets available for purchase online through this link.
General admission tickets are $12, while reserved tickets range from $20-$45 - UCLA section tickets (if available) are $20, and are located in the northeast corner of the stadium, between the GA section and the UCLA sideline. Tickets can be printed at home or picked up at will call day of game.
I don’t think the game will be a complete sell out (iirc, the Cal game 2 years ago is the only sellout at the new stadium), but between last night’s result and a greater excitement among Stanford fans this year, it could come close.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Looks like
the UCLA section tickets are sold out. Nice work everyone. I guess I’ll be looking for tickets elsewhere!

Not necessarally
The visitors section comprises the allotment of tickets given to the away school to distribute – tickets that UCLA can sell or give away. Stanford would be able to sell tickets in that section only if UCLA does not sell out its allotment and returns the remainder to the Stanford ticket office.
If anyone is looking for UCLA section tickets, try CTO. No idea if any tickets remain, but it would be the only source at this time.

Also if the UCLA allotment is gone
get the general admission ticket, and get there early.
Section 125 and 225 borders on the visitors section. That’s where I’ll be.

Thanks for the info on the tickets
Going to buy tickets once I find out if my dad wants to go with me (I’m from the SF Bay area originally). Living in NYC, I don’t get too many chances to see my Bruins in action so definitely taking advantage of this opportunity.
Go Bruins!

Stanford has been running a bunch of commercials on TV up here to get folks to go to the game – so, there should be plenty of tickets for UCLA fans.

We are in section 126. See you there!!!

Regarding the photo
I don’t remember Joe Cowan (#26 with the ball) only having one arm. How was this not a bigger story? What a personal triumph!
As for tickets, at last check, there were also still quite a few available on stubhub at a reasonable price. As much as I hate stubhub, they are a good resource from time to time.

Where to stay?
Going out to Tennessee this year got me pretty fired up for more roadies — before that I hadn’t traveled to see the Bruins since the Cotton Bowl vs. Texas A & M.
Where do most Bruins fans end up staying . . . SF? San Jose? Close by The Farm?

When I went 2 years ago
I stayed in SF right by Market St. and I saw a pretty solid number of Bruins in my hotel, on Market St. and at Union Square over the weekend.

For people staying in SF, or San Jose
If you don’t want to drive to/tailgate at the stadium and do not have alternate transportation (ie Fan Travel), Caltrain will be running and has a day-of-game stop at Stanford Stadium (<10 minute walk); the line runs from the SOMA area of San Francisco (Adjacent to the Giants stadium) to downtown San Jose.

We decided
just to stay in Palo Alto. There is a Sheraton there (where fan travel stayed in 2007) and its walking distance from the stadium. The fan travel group is staying in SF. If you are making a weekend of it, SF may be better, but if you’re just coming for the game staying right by the stadium works! :)

Making the trip all the way from...
DC! Can’t wait to see our boys in person since I had to miss Tenn last minute. My folks got us tickets through Bruin travel, and the Bruin Travel crowd are staying at the Palace Hotel in SF. Looking forward to a great weekend with the Bruins and to some Irish coffees at the Buena Vista Saturday night!

Any advice for parking around Stanford Stadium?
Well.. just got tickets in the lower level general admission seats right by the UCLA visitor’s section. Unfortunately, couldn’t get any tickets in the UCLA visitor’s section at all, all sold out. Does anyone know anything about the parking situation around Stanford stadium.. do they have plenty of spaces at the onsite parking lot or do you have to consider other nearby parking lots. Thanks in advance for any info.
Go Bruins!

Park in lot 4
It’s right off of El Camino Real, is a nice lot that you can tailgate in if you choose, it’s close to the stadium and is free.

Thanks for the info about Lot 4
How early should we get there before gametime to ensure that we have no problems finding parking?

Lot 4
Lot 4 does fill up for some of the bigger home games and I would plan on getting there an hour and a half hour before the game to be safe. There are other campus lots available after that one fills up that are a little farther walk. If you are running late you can park in the neighborhood on Churchill to the east of the train tracks (say at Emmerson or Bryant) and its about a twenty minute walk to the stadium.

Sadly
Some unfortunate circumstances have made it necessary for me to work on Saturday, which means I’m no longer going to be going to the game. Luckily I don’t have to be at work until 4 so I can at least watch the game on TV.

Stanford Stadium seating chart
Interactive seating chart with seat views for the stadium, in case anyone here is looking at seats in different parts of the stadium.
General Admission is in sections x21-x25, and the UCLA allotment is in sections x26-x28.

Sorry I don't any useful info
to offer you, but I just want to say that your enthusiasm is outstanding!

Yup, love the enthusiasm!
May be late for tonight, but North Beach has some fun night spots, and is not far from the Palace (if that is where you’ll be). The Mission district is also a good party area.

A couple of notes on tomorrow
As I updated the post to reflect, a small number (<100) of tickets in the UCLA section are now available to purchase through Stanford. If anyone here has not bought tickets yet and wants to sit there, I strongly suggest buying those tickets now through the Stanford website linked above. I would not bet on those seats remaining long tomorrow. For anyone looking to do this, you will need to click on section 226 on the stadium map, otherwise the website will bring up the “best available” corner seats in the stadium, likely not in 226.
Also, for anyone planning on getting to Palo Alto early, the UCLA mens water polo team is playing Stanford at 10:30am.

Already got mine in general admission
I’m pretty excited because it will be the first UCLA game I’m taking my kids to. Go Bruins!
