Thank you!

I taped that but it ran over I guess, so I missed it. He sounds sick, doesn’t he? If so, fell better coach!

I like it

He does say all the right things doesn’t he?
Q: “Are you ahead of schedule?”
A: “I don’t like to look at things at that macro a vantage point. I just know we’ve got today and what can we get done today to keep pushing forward.”

Not that he should look to me of all people on how to answer to the media, but that is exactly what I want to hear from my head coach. Other people might argue that he wasn’t the best possible choice out there as far as X’s and O’s but from a PR standpoint I really don’t know if there was a better choice than what we’ve got with CRN. It also doesn’t hurt that he has shown to be a pretty darned good in-game football coach. Question: Can any other school from a major conference make a genuine claim to have a pair of head coaches in the two big revenue sports who have can say that the position they hold currently is their dream job?

that's an interesting question

Never thought of the question framed this way:

Can any other school from a major conference make a genuine claim to have a pair of head coaches in the two big revenue sports who have can say that the position they hold currently is their dream job?

Perhaps Rick Barnes/Mack Brown is the answer. They bleed Texas orange I think. Meyer/Donovan seems pretty entrenched as well. Although, I think Meyer could potentially leave for a pro gig.

Meyer is a great coach

but he stated Notre Dame was his dream job. I don’t know much about Rick Barnes or Mack Brown before they went to Texas but I do believe both Rick Neuheisel and Ben Howland had each publicly stated that UCLA was their dream job before they accepted their positions at UCLA. In every interview I’ve seen they totally do not disappoint in this respect! I cannot tell you how pleased I am to call these two guys our own!
