Okay up is down.

Down is up.

A nightmarish start for Bruin defense but special teams and offense (!) is keeping us in the game. Bruins are down 10-14 and with the ball.

Let's get the good mojo flowing in the second quarter open thread.

GO BRUINS.

Each conference is different.

Don’t all Pac-10 reviews come from the booth?

How do they handle nonconference games? (Ask Oklahoma?)

Chalkboard

I’d like to watch the game and listen to the commentary.

But, Urkel’s voice is worse than fingernails on a chalkboard.

At least the mute button works on the remote.

Please don’t tell me that he’ll be doing all of the UCLA games this year.

All year, then we will have lots of W’s.

by Reeko on Sep 5, 2009 6:10 PM PDT reply actions

true, it is SDSU

But we’re looking good so far in the first half against a good d-coordinator, we’re moving the ball, and we’re doing it multiple ways. That is dangerous for Norm Chow. Very optimistic now. Cut out the turnovers and get better and we’re definitely winning 7 games, at the very least.

Prince

The kid’s got guts, swagger, a gun, smarts and wheels. The offensive line looks much, much better and is laying lead blocks for the rbs to run through and creating a pocket. And we still have to incorporate some more receivers and the tide ends. Offense looking great. 23 points in the first half. Not bad!

Depends on the location of the break

Nondisplaced fx → walking boot at least 4 weeks
Displaced fx → probable surgery, minimum 8 weeks
Displaced distal fib fx with ankle joint widening → definite surgery, probable12 weeks

Student section

I certainly enjoyed the late September starts back when I was in school, but part of me wishes that UCLA started fall quarter in time for the students to fill up the Den at the start of the season. The first half sounded pretty quiet and I’m sure our defense would appreciate a bit of noise to give them that extra advantage.
