BN Gameday: San Diego State Second Half Thread

All right the last overflow thread was certainly good mojo for the defense.

Our offense has slowed down a bit in second half. So throwing another one up to jump start the offense. For the latest stats here is the box score from WWL.

Let's get this team locked up and out of reach.

GO BRUINS.

Prince is a freshman

We are getting reminded of that. And I think it’s necessary to be mindful of that because this game is going to be microcosm of the season: a roller coaster.

Vinney

Has done a real good job since coming in for Hester. In fact I think he has settled the other CB position down.

by Nestor on Sep 5, 2009 7:29 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Our defense

They seemed to be getting stronger and more physical as the game is developing. That’s a good trend. Again it helps that offense can get some first downs.

Would love to see the offense finish strong in this coming drive with some first downs.

In some ways

Kevin Prince has played like a freshman. This is reminding me of watching Cade McNown in many ways (when he would do wonderful things and then mix in with freshman mistakes). But what is clear is that he has the tools (Craft bless his heart but he simply didn’t have the athletcism to be a starting QB).

Go Huskies

I am happy with our start to the season. We obviously did not show all our cards as mentioned above, I thought Prince looked very share at times and very composed for not playing in a game, for a long time. I think if we can show up with a better defense next week, we have a good chance of staying with the Vols, however I must say the most displeasing thing by far and has been a trend for too long with our football team is the lack of killer instinct, the play calling in the end get’s soft and predictable, which is very frustrating to me.

Go Bruins!

by westwood12003 on Sep 5, 2009 8:09 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Any word on Prince

I thought it strange that Brehaut was used in this game, burning his redshirt year, but moreso because of whether it’s a case of Neuheisel disappointed in Prince’s second half performance or if he’s more hurt than he’s letting on.
