Tickets still available for the USC UCLA B-Ball at Pauley

Got an email for UCLA Athletics that tickets are still available.  OK this is a down year for Ben's team and they can be frustrating to watch at times.  But this is SC.  We need to pack the house!

actually kinda interesting

that they are emailing about buying tickets from season ticket holders, as this isn’t going to lead to ‘new revenue’ for the school.

Maybe they are starting to get the message that it is important to fill Pauley with people, not just ticket stubs.

It's important to them

because if somebody comes to the game they pay for parking, food, and possibly merchandise. Yes they already have the ticket money, but there is more to be earned is a body actually uses it. I’m not willing to praise their intentions just yet.

Not only that, we need to return the favor.

I remember when they stomped us 66-19 in football, they came in to our house and chanted, “Let’s talk football!”

Win or lose Saturday, it would be a good time to return that favor.

This is war

First, it looks like the UCLA marketing folks actually read this site. Good job.

Second, anybody with a UCLA degree or certificate, who has visited the bookstore, who’s favorite color is blue or who knows somebody who went to UCLA needs to be in Pauley for this street fight.

Third, our wise guy, sneering, berating, condescending, airball chanting student section had better be on their game too. Your Bruins are playing the most dishonest athletic program in America. The marginally intelligent Stanford rooting section had signs that said, “PAC 9.” Now you can do better than that. Show us. You will be judged by the character you display in Pauley against the legacy of the two O.J.’s, Pete Carroll, Land Rover McKnight, and Mark “Crybaby” McGuire.
