This morning, I finally put my finger on what bothers me most about our basketball team. The answer is simple. We are not playing by the principles of the pyramid. When all of our players and coaches put out the effort that will allow them to be "successful" -- within Coach's meaning, I will be satisfied. Those who play by the pyramid are never losers, no matter the score. If I were CBH, I would assign the book to the players, and discuss one principle, every day. Learning those lessons are as important as learning to shoot and defend. With a better understanding of the pyramid will come success -- defined the correct way.
