Often players are downgraded by recruiting sites because they are raw and not ready to step in and play right away. Well, they only evaluate whether a player can step in and play their position. If they’re raw, but can play their position as a junior or senior and can be valuable on special teams early on, they’re well worth it.

It’s been corrected. My pessimism was coming from the one game I saw him in and he didn’t impress me. But that was one game. And you’re both right, depth is important.

He had a monster SR year and from reading the Fresno Bee, they consider him to be the MVP of the Edison team. He is supposedly really, really strong and is a HS Wrestler. These are the guys that we normally pass up and they end up at Utah/TCU/etc and end up becoming players.

Wonder if this is any indication on our status with Owa and other recruits considering rides are at a premium right now. Talk of him possibly playing FB. If so, does this mean a switch for Allmond to DT?
