That is our Derrick Coleman pitching in to assist in the restoration of Andrew Wilson Elementary School in New Orleans, La., on Dec. 31. The school has been closed since 2005 after the building was flooded during Hurricane Katrina but is expected to reopen in January.
Coleman participated in the volunteer project alongside 19 other collegiate football players who comprise this year's Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, which recognizes student-athletes for their charitable involvement and community service contributions. As announced yesterday Colemand was named to Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. Congrats Derrick.
