AA has a near perfect game
Arron Afflalo, arguably the hardest working Ben Ball Warrior and a true bruin, had the game of his pro career thus far. In 36 minutes he had 24 pts on 9-11 shooting (6-7 on threes), 2 rebounds, 1 steal, 7 assists, 0 turnovers. His +/- was +12 as Denver beat Charlotte 104-93 (though the nuggets were without Carmelo)

I don't care if this is slightly OT and technically not UCLA sports-related
I’m really happy to see him beginning to thrive in the NBA. Looks like the move to Denver was just what he needed to start proving his worth. He has the ability to be a great 6th man (or even starter) in the NBA and it simply makes UCLA look great!
Awesome news
I’m glad he’s getting a real chance to showcase his talents at the next level. Not that his time in Detroit wasn’t reflective of the kind of player he was at the time, but I just think that what we’re seeing now is a clear result of his work ethic; the same work ethic that made him my favorite Ben Ball Warrior.
It's sheer willpower
AA isn’t the fastest or most athletic guy. He’s not the tallest guy. He doesn’t have freakish ability like Kobe or LeBron. But he works so damn hard and he succeeds by willpower alone. We don’t have anyone on this current roster, at least not yet: a guy who will drive a team to a win by the mere refusal to lose.
AA is the man. Very excited to see him doing well, although no one here is shocked.
Don't forget the icewater in his veins.
He’s the kind of guy who others know they can depend on in any situation, on or off the court.
i was pissed when the nuggets got afflalo...
i knew he was going to be a great player for them and i hoped the lakers might get him…
now not only is he gonna kill hte lakers.. hes gonna shut down kobe cause hes a great defender and a hard worker…
The announcers last night....
Pointed out several times that he is quickly becoming a crowd favorite…. on a team that has Melo, Chauncey, and cult-favorite Chris Anderson.
