This is pure Ben Howland—pure truth. We have had injuries (the scope of the injuries remains somewhat of a veiled enigma) and a personnel problem who needed a more up tempo game because he is better than everybody else and who is now gone. But we should do better—no excuses.

would open his practices to the media. It would give everyone a window into how the team is working day to day. It would give a chance to really see if the guys are showing the skills but just not carrying it over to the games or if they really just don’t belong in a UCLA uniform. I bring this up because I’ve read comments about him not allowing the media into practices….I believe it was from brian dohn so I have to question the authenticity.
