I know there hasn't been much good news to report around here over the past few weeks, but I did want to pass along this little nugget.

One of my sorority sisters was expecting her second son this month. As the time got closer, I joked "Wouldn't it be great if he was born on Oct. 14 so that he would be exactly 100 years younger than Coach Wooden." She said, "Only a true Bruin would appriciate that."

Well, she needed to be induced, but at least there will be one Bruin fan in the world who can say he was born on Coach's 100th birthday, which is way better than what Jonathan got (I won't even mention who he shares a birthday with).
