St. John's - addition to the coaching staff
Obviously learning from Peter Dalis's mistake at UCLA, St. John's made sure there was at least one parent/adult on the staff.

The Real Reason For The Hire
The St. John’s Board of Trustees just realized what a big mistake it was to hire . . . (sorry I can’t even type that worthless dope’s name) so they brought on a “senior advisor” who could take over the second they fire the clown.
By the way, whoever heard of hiring a “senior adviser?” Whatever happened to calling the job, “Assistant Head Coach?”
What if the “Senior Advisor” gets an assistant, does the dude become the “Deputy Senior Advisor?” And if the “Deputy Senior Advisor” needs help, will St. Johns hire a “Special Assistant to the Deputy Senior Advisor?” And if the “Special Assistant to the Deputy Senior Advisor” has a staff, will they hire a “Chief of Staff to the Special Assistant to the Deputy Senior Advisor?”
No wonder this cluelessly amoral nimrod almost singlehandedly destroyed UCLA Basketball.

Where was the Senior Advisor last night?
Of all the sorry, sloppy, silly, no defense, barely any offense excuses for a scrimmage that ESPNU showed during their Midnight Madness special last night, St. Johns’ jungle ball display was far and away the most ridiculous.
I don’t know if anyone else watched that mess but the thing that struck me was the fact that Duke ran a relatively serious scrimmage. I kept wondering if other players went home and watched their DVRs only to find that the champs took s*** seriously, even during an exhibition.
I couldn't believe that St J's was chosen to be one of the school's on!
I watched a little and then had to stop when you know who was on.
Go Bruins!
Coach Krzyzewski is a serious guy
Like Coach Wooden, Coach Krzyzewski believes in making every minute of practice count.

Agreed
People can say what they want about the guy but you gotta admit that Coach K runs a tight ship. As much as I hate the Dookies, I’ve always admired their ability to consistently bring their “A” game; I think that’s a byproduct of Krzyzewski’s whip cracking.
LV--you and Coach Wooden see it the same way
While Coach Krzyzewski was still coaching at Army, I saw an interview of Coach Wooden. He was asked to name the best up and coming new college basketball coaches. And Coach Wooden named Coach Krzyzewski and identified a single characteristic—Coach K was a disciplinarian.
LV—I swear to you, the way Coach Wooden enunciated the word “disciplinarian” was precise and so utterly disciplined, to pick a word out of the air, it made you twinge. There was a frightful austerity to the way Coach Wooden used the word.
Coach Krzyzewski brings that same tough ethic to the game.
