Pushback Againts LA's Bruin Hating Tradmed Via Facebook/Twitter
Well folks. We have had a lot of discussion on this blog about the wretched state of traditional media when it comes to covering our Bruins in Southern California. As we expected the vultures and hacks in the local beats (notwithstanding solid exception like Jon Gold) have jumped all over the Bruins, when things haven't gone our way.
Well as we always there is one way to push back. That is to continue to build up our own social networks here at Bruins Nation, so that we can push our narrative based on sober reality and the big picture. While this community has continued to grow (thanks to the amazing efforts of all the regular members), our reach has also been growing further through our social network outposts on both Facebook and on Twitter. We have well over 1,000 fans and followers on both accounts. Let's continue to grow those networks if you haven't already joined us. Here are the direct URLs:
If you have accounts on both of those networks, we strongly urge you to link up with BN. Just click on the like button to connect with our Facebook page and hit the "follow" button to sync up with our Twitter account. Stay connected and stay synced up. Spreading our posts through those outposts to your friends and colleagues are easy ways to drown out the drivel coming out from the Trojan Times and other hackish oulets in LA.
So once again Facebook us, follow us on Twitter. It's all pretty easy to do and it's one of the more efficient ways to methodically push back against the tired and stale anti UCLA narrative that keeps trickling out of bankrupt outlets in LA's traditional media.
GO BRUINS.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Indeed.
Had them both set up for several months.
Come on people. What would Arnet do?
Go Bruins !!!!
Our new battle cry
What would Arnet do. FWIW it is pretty cool to see guys like John Barnes following BN on Facebook.
No way!
But with 500 million users, you figure a few former student athletes will be following BN.

I'm guessing that JB knows
that “Barnes2JJ” is already taken on BN. Maybe that’s why he’s on Facebook. Then again, why not both? Alright BNers, fess up. Which one of you is John Barnes?
(Haven’t seen old Barnes2JJ in a while.)
Ask and ye shall receive.

Enjoy until your heart is content. :-)
How can we help with the pushback?
As one who does not use Facebook or Twitter — how does it help to push back by joining the BruinsNation accounts?
What else do we do, once joined up, to push back?
Thanks.

The simple things to do
Once you have joined the accounts:
- On Facebook: Hit the “like” buttons (specially for the posts debunking misinfo) and also post them on your accounts
- on Twitter: Retweet our posts.
