Passing Efficiency explained
For those who have always wondered what that stat meant in college football. Interesting list at the end (see 1982 & 1997), with almost all those guys playing in the NFL. See if you can spot the mistake.

Sark played at BYU, not Washington ...
Sark is a South Bay guy, I think he played at one of the Torrance high schools before going to El Camino.
Also ...
look how many BYU guys are on the list. McMahon let the nation twice, Steve Young, Detmer, and Sark.
Philip Rivers is also on the list, so I wondered how many of those guys played at least one year for Chow — but I don’t remember if Chow was the OC at BYU when McMahon and Young were playing. We’d have to look up the years.
He was the OC
At BYU from 1982 to 1999, then at NC State for a year in 2000 before going to U$C.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
Think I found the mistake
It states the NFL max efficiency is 153.8. IIRC, it’s 158.3.
Roses are red, violets are blue...f*** $C.
Oh I don't know that!
The mistake I was referring to was the one Achilles pointed out above.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
