Thanks for posting!
Wasn’t able to make it to the Saturday game b/c of the Pacquiao fight. Thanks for taking the video.
+1
Nice highlights! I wasn’t able to go to many games this year but was glad I caught this one. Their defense is much improved over last year. I’m very excited about where Sealy is taking this team!

Thanks for all these vids...Love them!
On a technical aspect- what did you use to shoot and later encode them? After about a 3 yr hiatus, I’m trying to get back into video and am a bit taken aback on just how far behind I’ve gotten in that time.

Panasonic DMC-FZ100
It’s a super-zoom (24x optical, 24mm to 600mm equivalent) camera that also records AVCHD (1080i) that I just recently picked up. I used it for the Oregon St. highlights too. The video clips can be directly uploaded to youtube. I used Pinnacle Studio 12 to combine clips and DivX encoded them before uploading. Nice thing about the camera is that the (non-removable) lens is really short (unextended) so I didn’t have any problems getting it in to the Rose Bowl or Collins Ct at the Wooden Center.
Wonder how Wooden Center lighting compares to Pauley
In Pauley, I crank my ISO up to a min 1600. Wonder how the Panasonic performs at that setting.
I’m having trouble getting AVCHD files to play nice in Premiere. Maybe I’ll give Pinnacle Studio a shot.
Thanks for the info, and keep up the good work!
